At Meadow View Montessori (formerly Rocklin Montessori), we celebrate each child’s unique potential by nurturing curiosity, creativity, and a strong sense of self. Rooted in Montessori philosophy, we believe early childhood education should be a joyful and enriching journeyβ€”one that empowers children to grow with confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning, supported by a caring school community.

Our classrooms are nestled in a cozy, converted home, offering a warm and welcoming space where children feel safe, calm, and at home. It’s a place where small hands are free to explore, create, and discover the world around them.

A Beautiful Place to Learn

At Meadow View Montessori, every spaceβ€”indoors and outβ€”is designed to spark curiosity and joy in learning. Inside our peaceful, light-filled classrooms, children explore freely with Montessori materials that encourage focus, independence, and creativity.

Outdoors, our meadow and nature-inspired play spaces invite discovery and imagination. From digging in the garden and making pretend soup in the mud kitchen to spotting hummingbirds and watching squirrels, outdoor play is a joyful part of every day.

With very low student–teacher ratios and an experienced, nurturing team, each child is seen, supported, and encouraged as an individual. Our balanced approachβ€”combining purposeful play, creative expression, and time in natureβ€”fosters independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

A Typical Day

Each day at Meadow View Montessori follows a gentle rhythm of learning, play, and connection. Children move through experiences that nurture curiosity, confidence, and joy in discovery.

Montessori Work & Play-Based Exploration
Children engage in hands-on learning that encourages focus, independence, and purposeful play.

Outdoor Adventures
Outdoor time is a treasured part of every day. Children dig, build, ride, and exploreβ€”chasing bubbles in the meadow and gathering acorns and other little nature finds along the way.

Creative Expression
Art, music, and imaginative play invite creativity and sensory-rich exploration.

Community & Connection
Shared snacks, group lessons, music and movement, and social–emotional learning build empathy, communication skills, and friendships.

Enrichment & Language
Throughout the week, children enjoy enrichment experiences in art, music and dance, culinary exploration, gardening, Spanish, and yoga. In our bilingual environment, Spanish is woven naturally into each dayβ€”building vocabulary, confidence, and cultural understanding.
